1. Your first step is to determine the length or your custom video slideshow. The length is based on how many photos you would like to include. Please refer to the Pricing page.

2. View our Sample Videos to get an idea of the type of theme you would like your video to feature. Depending on the general theme you prefer, we will help you develop the appropriate style and effects that would be consistent with the theme. If you have specific ideas about what you would like to feature in your show (e.g. dynamic transitions, scrapbook effects, story book, Ken Burn's effects, etc.) please let us know and Photos Remembered will accommodate your preferences.

3. Take some time to review our Song Suggestions page. If you are not familiar with some of the songs, you can visit online music stores such as iTunes, Rhapsody, or Barnes & Noble to listen to short samples of songs you like. Try to choose songs that incorporate the theme you have chosen. Remember that some shows will require both upbeat and slow songs to match the pictures you will incorporate. A great song selection can really make a show.

4. You are now ready to complete the Order Form. The more information you provide to us, the better able we will be to customize your video slideshow.

5. You now need to collect the pictures that will be added to your show. Remember the following as you gather your photographs:

a.) When collecting your photos try to think of who will be viewing your slideshow. If possible, include photos of these friends and family members.

b.) It is very important that you take the time to choose photos that are not too dark, over exposed, or out of focus. Red eye and minor scratches can be corrected, but if the photo quality is poor, it will not show well in your slideshow.

c.) If you are scanning your own photos, put them in chronological order as you would like to see them in the show. Make sure that your scanner is cleaned with a dry cloth to eliminate dust particles. Make sure your scanning resolution is set for 300 DPI or higher. Save each scanned photo as a JPEG file and give them a number that corresponds to the order you would like them positioned in the show (e.g. 001.jpg, 002.jpg, and so forth). If you are working on a "Our Story" slideshow for bride and groom please indicate b001.jpg (for bride) and g001.jpg (for groom). Save your files to a CD-R and make a copy for yourself to keep. d.) If you would like for us to scan your photos, put them in chronological order and number them similar to above. Place a sticky note with the number on the back of each photo or write the number on the back of the photo with a pencil. Divide the photos by section or song and put it in individual bags. Make sure you retain a copy/duplicate of each of these photos. Photos Remembered cannot be responsible for lost or damaged photos during shipping. Mail to Photos Remembered.

Your photos will be returned to you with your slideshow.

6.) Photos Remembered will be contacting you to finalize the details of your show.

7.) Upon completion of your show you have the option to preview it online. Any changes that might be necessary should be made at that time.
